Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 30, 2026
This policy explains what we collect when you enter the Freedom Softwash giveaway, why we collect it, and the choices you have. "We" and "our" mean Rich Marsaglia d/b/a Freedom Softwash.
Information we collect
When you enter, we collect your first and last name, home address, email address, phone number, the services you tell us you are interested in, your answers about owning your home and your property type, and, if you arrived from a marketing link, the campaign source recorded in that link. To keep a record that your consent is valid, we also store the date and time you entered, your IP address, your browser type, the exact consent language shown to you, and which boxes you checked. If you share your referral link, we store a code that connects entries you refer back to you. If you submit the form but we cannot accept it as a new entry, because someone at your address or with your email or phone has already entered, we keep a record of what was submitted so we can show that the entry was a duplicate and not lose your request.
How we use your information
We use it to run the giveaway and select and notify the winner, to send you the offer and communications you agreed to receive, to credit your referrals, to prevent fraud, and to meet legal requirements.
How we share your information
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use trusted service providers to operate the giveaway, including our website host, our database provider, our email provider, our phone and text messaging providers, an address autocomplete provider, and an error and performance monitoring provider. The address autocomplete provider receives what you type into the address field, as you type it, so it can suggest your address. The monitoring provider receives technical information about page loads and errors, including the web address of the page you are on. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
Cookies
We use one small first-party cookie that remembers which referral link brought you to the page, so referral credit goes to the right person. It lasts about 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or any tracking that follows you across other websites, so there is no cookie consent banner to click. The address autocomplete and monitoring providers described above do not set cookies on this site and do not track you anywhere else. We count page views in aggregate on our own server. We do not use a cookie, do not store your IP address or browser type for this, and cannot identify individual visitors from these counts.
Calls
If you check the separate box agreeing to it, we may contact you by phone or automated call about your offer and to schedule service. This consent is optional and is never required to enter. Our calls state up front that they come from Freedom Softwash on a recorded line and that an AI assistant may be speaking. Calls are made only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. your local time.
Your choices
You can opt out at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop emails. Ask us during any call, or contact us using the details below, to stop calls, and we will honor the request within a reasonable time. You can also ask us to delete your information.
How long we keep it
We keep entry and consent records for up to five years to meet legal and recordkeeping requirements, then delete or anonymize them.
Children
This site and giveaway are not directed to children. Entry is limited to adults 18 and older, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for it, so we do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
